The Mohali IT City IT Companies Association hosted Shri Sanjeev Arora, Hon’ble Minister of Industries & Commerce, Government of Punjab, for an interactive session held on 24th September 2025 at Netsmartz Towers, Mohali IT City.
Mr. Manipal Dhariwal, President of the Association and CEO & Co-Founder of Netsmartz Group, briefed the Hon’ble Minister on the progress of Mohali IT City, noting that 80 plots have been allotted, with a built-up potential of 57 lakh sq. ft., capable of creating over 1.14 lakh direct and 5 lakh indirect jobs in the next two years.
Mr. Dhariwal highlighted the city’s growing base of 80+ IT and GCC enterprises poised to generate large-scale employment in AI, Cybersecurity, KPO, and Software Development, while also outlining key infrastructure issues — power reliability, street lighting, road quality, drainage, and landscaping.
