3rd Governing Council Meeting

The 3rd Governing Council Meeting of the Mohali IT City IT Companies Association (MITCA) was held on 12th August 2026 at Sector 67, Mohali, under the chairmanship of Mr. Manipal Dhariwal, President, MITCA.

The Council deliberated on key matters concerning the growth and development of IT City Mohali, including:

• Enhancement Charges and resolution of long-pending policy matters

• Facilitative IT-sector Building Rules

• Membership growth and sponsorship mobilisation

• Branding and positioning of IT City Mohali

• Landscaping and beautificationof IT City Mohali

• Member engagement through online meetings

• Organisation of Annual flagshipevent

• Enhancing national and international visibility of MITCA and IT City Mohali

The President emphasised the vision of positioning IT City Mohali as a nationally and internationally recognised IT destination and GCC Capital. Members agreed on the need for greater participationand coordinated efforts to advance the Association’s objectives.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to collectively strengthen MITCA and accelerate the growth, visibility and development of IT City Mohali.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Jitin Talwar, Vice President; Mr. Satinder Singh Bedi, General Secretary; Mr.J B Singh, Governing Council Member; Mr. Surinder Sharma, Governing Council Member along with Ms. Rimneet Kaur, Executive Director, and Mr. Vineet K. Verma, Consultant.
